Report an issue

Email security@chessting.com. Please do not publish details before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and protect affected users.

What to include

• The affected page, API route, or feature.
• Clear reproduction steps and the impact you observed.
• Sanitised screenshots, request details, or logs that do not expose another person's data.
• A safe way to contact you with follow-up questions.

Responsible testing

Limit testing to accounts and data you control. Avoid accessing, changing, or deleting another user's information, disrupting the service, sending spam, or using automated tests that create material load. If you encounter personal data or a live secret, stop and report it.

Good-faith reports that follow these boundaries are welcome. This page does not authorise activity that would be unlawful or harmful.

Acknowledgements

We may acknowledge a helpful report only with the reporter's explicit permission and after the issue is resolved. We do not promise payment or a public bug-bounty programme.
